As paraprofessionals, you learn about effective management strategies to use in their classrooms under the direction of your IEP team members. Paraprofessionals will learn strategies to promote student motivation that keeps students on task and focused. They will also learn and practice increasing student independence and decreasing prompt dependency. All strategies can be used when they return to school on Monday! (One Hour)

During this session, paraprofessionals will engage in collaborative activities and discussions. The activities and discussions are designed explicitly for paraprofessionals to practice strategies that they can then implement in their classrooms under the guidance and direction of their IEP team members. Paraprofessionals who view the session will gain valuable insights into effectively collaborating and supporting students of different age groups and with diverse learning needs. This, in turn, will enhance the motivation and determination of the students, leading to increased dynamic participation. Participants will gain valuable skills that can boost student self-sufficiency and decrease dependence on prompts. (One Hour)
