What can we use to tell if a student is making progress in the curriculum? How do we know when a student is displaying more non-preferred behaviors than their typical peers? How will we know if students are making progress towards their IEP goals? The answer is DATA. Data is used to make informed, objective decisions about student instruction, placement and the effectiveness of teaching methods, related services and other interventions. In this video, learn the related terminology associated with data collection and how to make data observations in a consistent manner that provides meaningful, reliable data. (One Hour)
